Controller of Entrance Examination (CEE), Kerala has announced the dates for Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) exam, which will be conducted in April 2012. The KEAM entrance exam will be held on Monday, April 23, 2012.
Controller of Entrance Examination (CEE), Kerala conducts KEAM. KEAM 2012 scores are valid for admission to Engineering, Architecture, Agricultural and Medical courses in the institutes of Kerala. The entrance exam is held at 182 schools across Kerala.
KEAM 2012 Eligibility Criteria
• Medical and Agricultural courses: The candidate who have passed higher secondary exam from board of Kerala or government recognized institutes with 50% marks in Biology/ Biotechnology separately, and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology put together, are eligible.
• Engineering colleges: Candidates who have passed higher secondary examination, Kerala, or any government recognized institute, with 50% marks in Mathematics separately and 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Bio-technology/ Biology put together are eligible for admission.

KEAM 2012 Paper Pattern
• KEAM 2012 is based on objective type questions. It consists of 2 different papers of two and half hours duration each.
• For Engineering colleges paper I consist of Physics & Chemistry and paper II consists of Mathematics.
Important Dates
• Engineering exam will be held on Monday, 23rd April, 2012 and Tuesday, 24th April, 2012. (10AM - 12:30PM)
• Medical exam will be held on Wednesday, 25th April, 2012 and Thursday, 26th April, 2012. (10AM - 12:30PM).
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is conducting its Engineering Colleges Entrance Examination every year on an all India basis for admission to the 4 year B.Tech degree program offered in the three campuses at Amritapuri (Kollam), Bengaluru and Ettimadai (Coimbatore).
Amtita University and Colleges 2012 Eligibility Criteria
• A pass in the final examination of 10+2 ( class XII ) or its equivalent securing 60% or above marks in Mathematics, 55% or above separately in Physics and Chemistry with an aggregate of 60% in the three subjects.
• A three year Diploma in Engineering with minimum 60% marks, awarded by any State Board of Technical Education.
Note: Those who appear for the above examinations in April / May 2012 and expect to secure minimum marks as above may also apply.
Application Procedure for Amtita University and Colleges 2012
• Cost of application kit is Rs.850/-, which covers the cost of application form, university brochure, information handbook and examination fee. Application fee once paid will not be refunded.
• By post, from the admission coordinators of Amrita Schools of Engineering at Amritapuri, Bengaluru and Coimbatore, on a written request indicating their full communication address together with a Demand Draft for `.850/- drawn in favor of Amrita School of Engineering payable at Coimbatore.
Amtita University 2012 Paper Pattern
• The duration of the examination is 3 hours (10 AM to 1 PM). There will be only one question paper containing objective type questions in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
• Each question will be followed by four answers of which only one is correct / most appropriate. The question booklet will be in English.
• Each question carries 3 marks. Negative mark (-1) will be awarded for each wrong answer.

• Last date of issue of application forms: Tuesday, 27th March, 2012.
• Last date for receiving completed applications: Friday, 30th March, 2012. (OMR & on-line)
• Date of entrance examination: Sunday, 22nd April, 2012.
